It is definitely intense, and also very rich. I would recommend this only for those who truly love dark chocolate. It is very good, as all Ghirardelli chocolate is, but it's not for someone who doesn't absolutely love dark chocolate. My immediate thought was "oh gosh, are there pieces missing? did someone take some before they shipped?" So I checked the amazon listing, and counted the pieces, and there were 27 as there are "supposed" to be. But as i tried to put the pieces back in nicely, I realized that this box would actually hold 36 pieces very nicely. I didn't get to open the box and taste it, so my 4 stars is based on appearence alone. The box was very nice and looked like a nice gift that I'm not ashamed to hand my family or supervisor. It was small, but it's kind of what you'd expect so it's not a deal breaker in any way. It feels pretty heavy, so I think there's a lot of chocolate in it. |
